Not only was the nice restaurant staff an absolute hit during our visit, but also the great ambience. The seating is very comfortable and I think the distance between the tables is particularly adequate. There you don't get the feeling of dining like a cucumber in a can. My husband and I think the prices are completely fair. Try that unique cuisine, there is something for everyone on the menu.

Very loud, you can't put your own word on it. But otherwise nice staff and it was delicious too.

Great restaurant, great service, attentive and extremely friendly. Nice to enjoy on the terrace as in the restaurant. Delicious soups, schnitzel, bruschetta, and much more ... Our favorite restaurant when in Regensburg !!

Good breakfast buffet, especially the wholemeal bread, which is still lukewarm, very tasty. Very friendly staff, the restaurant is a bit too cold for me.

We visited the Alex yesterday. + A place was quickly taken care of. + Large selection of food and drinks. + Cocktails and food tasted very tasty. + Friendly staff -Table was assigned but not cleared and disinfected - Data was not recorded (we only pointed this out to the waiter when we left) -Wanted a spaghetti ice cream that is also on the menu. The waiter then told us we had no spaghetti ice cream. All in all rather mediocre but I am positive that it will be better next time you visit. Therefore also 4 stars.

Cheesecake (no matter which variation) very, very tasty. Nice atmosphere, a bit loud, but of course a lot going on at the weekend, so understandable. Better ventilation (especially with regard to COVID) desirable. Overall, definitely worth a visit!

Pleasant ambience, delicious steaks, burgers and cocktails. Varied menu. The tarte flambée are a bit too small and the beer prices are well over 4 euros. Sometimes you have to wait longer for the service.

Service took a long time to be served. Coctail was good. Corona regulate ... well. no address. Few of the guests wore face masks.

Large café with breakfast buffet (for € 10). Big cup of coffee / cocoa is really huge (4 €). Selection at the buffet is okay. Unfortunately no yoghurt, but with bacon, fried / scrambled eggs, pancakes, croissants, ... Everything also tastes very tasty. The staff is friendly and quick.

The waitress (long braided brown hair) puts a bowl of ketchup with the fries without comment and only mentions afterwards that it costs 60ct more. You are obliged to at least point it out, but to put it down without comment and to calculate it without additional information is not acceptable. Will not go here again.

We went to Alex yesterday and I ordered a spaghetti ice cream. The raspberries were totally frozen. When I asked the waiter if they couldn't have one fresh raspberries, he said: We only have frozen ones - that ice cream was a bit very small, even for the price

Went there for Sunday brunch. The only thing that was good was the orange juice. The rest mediocre to poor. The coffee tasted like coffee grounds. It was cleared after a while. And for that I paid 13.90 euros. Bad price / performance ratio

You have already read a lot of bad things, but recently after my visit for about 4 to 5 years everything was ok and appropriate. Except for the numerous wasps, for which of course nobody can do anything, no reason to complain.

Great place to have a bite to eat together. The selection is also great - soul food, hearty, healthy, a little bit of everything. Always my pleasure.

Delicious Price not expensive and not cheap so normal

Not a fair price-performance ratio for the food. If someone wants to eat well then it is best to go somewhere else (except breakfast). Drinks are good.

Lovely place, with late serving of good food, good beers and drinks .... Large, cozy cafe.

We waited 15 minutes for anyone to notice us. My mother and I had to wait half an hour for the meal, my sister received her waffles after over an hour. Incompetent operations. Food was good.

Very popular place! But understandable with the good breakfast! Only to be recommended 🤜🤛 Prices more than okay and every breakfast is more than enough! The brunch is worth it 😉

Nice place in the heart of Regensburg. A big variety of food, very good service and nice peoples. And wath is more important: Family friendly.

Great Service! Food was decent and the atmosphere was wonderful for a midday meal!

The food is delicious, ambience is nice although I find it a bit over stuffed and loud, they try to compensate with music but does give a little bit if cafeteria vibe. Waiters are nice but there's long wait for drink and they interrupted a conversation like it's normal...I did not appreciate that. You want to book a table in advance, specially on Sunday morning as otherwise you won't have a place.

Lovely place and nice food. Desserts are really good and the real mint tea is just awesome. The waitress was polite and kind.

Good Sunday brunch for a fair price

Terrible service and coffee. Coffe arrived, but even we reminded waiter we ordered cakes too, they have arrived when we finished our coffe and were ready to leave. I am living in Germany 3 yrs. by now, and German service is alays extremely bad.

Very nice place to eat nice breakfast. Friendly staff and great food. You can enjoy watching handsome young men and women attending this restaurant.

Very nice place for late night eating. They make tasty drinks and delicious desserts. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a popular place so it can get packed pretty quick. The place was clean and neat. I have not had breakfast or other items on the menu as of yet, but when I do I'll update my review.

Slow service. After having ordered two drinks that came pretty fast, we ordered nachos that took forever. We then ordered additional beers as we had been waiting a long time for the food. Again this took time and staff seemed to prio cleaning up rather then giving their guests attention.

Not very clean and the service was slow and server was grumpy.

Always a great brunch experience! We had a New Year”s day brunch with a total of 10 people. Alex could have made accommodations for more. The serve yourself buffet has a lot of options. The only problem is when parents allow their children to dig in the buffet with their hands instead of using utensils (the parents were not using utensils either so maybe it was a family habit). Inexpensive for the food an choices you get. We will go again (but if I see someone not using utensils I will teach them how to behave in public).

The food was good.

Amazing Brunch!

My family and me went to Alex today (Sunday) after 2:30pm to eat some late lunch. The first impression was “dirty”, but maybe after we sit down the servers come and clean at least the table. Unfortunately, nobody even noticed us. After around 15-20 minutes waitress comes and takes our drinks order. She only comes back with one drink. Then we order the food. The second drink which was “hot white chocolate” came about 25 minutes later. To our surprise, it was just frothed milk with sugar. I also asked for straw for my lemonade and the waitress brought me used straw. I then went and asked for a clean one at the bar. There were no napkins or silverware at the table brought even after the food arrived. But at that point we were already leaving because we had waited for 45 minutes. We paid only for the lemonade and left disappointed. We are not recommending Alex restaurant in Regensburg and are not coming back.

what you did to my friend was disgusting

Food is great, Drinks are great but a bit pricey...but service is unfriendly and pissed as hell. after 3rd visit i need to write this. get some friendly workers... I am from the same working field and know it's though but being pissed is a no go.
